Youth goes missing , family suspects kidpping

Bongaigaon, September 17:  A suspected kidpping case in Chirang had created panic among the people.

Saidul Islam Dewan (22), son of Dewan Gajibur Rahman, a resident of Maujabari village under Sidli PS of Chirang district is missing and his family suspect that he has been kidpped. Dewan Gajibor Rahman told media persons that as usual, on Wednesday too after dinner Saidul went out for a walk at around 8 pm. “Since then, he is missing. We searched for him in all possible places. We suspect it to be kidpping but we have as yet not received any kind of demand or call from kidppers. Hence today we lodged an FIR in Sidli PS,” he said. Police have started looking for the missing youth.  Saidul had completed his bachelor’s degree from UN Brahma Choudhury College of Chirang in the last session.
