Youth killed in Khumtai

Golaghat , February 10: A youth med Jugnu Tanti was feared drowned in a pond at tunmati Malpatty area in Khumtai in Golaghat. Jugnu was allegedly a bicycle thief and he tried to steal a bicycle from Pintu Mal’s house on Tuesday night. But when Pintu chased him, Jugnu fell in the pond and drowned. On Wednesday Jugnu Tanti’s family and other local people said that Jugnu was an innocent man and alleged that it was a pre-planned murder and demanded an inquiry.
