Youth kills father at Halem

BISWATH CHARIALI, Feb 27: Badal Manki (50) was stabbed to death by his son Ajit Manki (14) with a dao in Amtalabari Gorhbasti village under Halem PS in Biswath district on Sunday night.

Ajit alleged that his father had sold him to a person in Aruchal Pradesh six years back and he was subjected to severe torture by the landlord. After returning home on Sunday, he allegedly murdered his father to take revenge. Police have taken him into custody.
