Zamparini suspended for lashing out at FIFA president

Palermo, April 29: Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini was fined and suspended on Friday for his offensive comments against FIFA president Gianni Infantino.

Zamparini had said Infantino, who has succeeded Sepp Blatter as the chief of football's world governing body, bought votes to achieve the post. The Italian federation stated on its website that Zamparini has been suspended for 20 days and fined 18,000 Euros for his remarks. "The tiol Federal Court presided over by the lawyer.
