zrul Islam's effigy burnt

Morigaon, February 12: The residents of Joribor GP under Laharighat Block here on Thursday burnt the effigy of Food & Civil Supply Minister Dr zrul Islam demanding repair of roads & construction of bridges which are in deplorable condition. The people alleged that the Public Works Department (PWD) has not taken any step for repairing of roads and the incomplete concrete bridge which is being constructed in area is in a dilapidated condition.
