4th District Task Force on Immunization Meeting held in Ziro, Arunachal

ZIRO: The fourth District Task Force on Immunization (DTFI) meeting on Mission Pratiraksha was held in the Conference Hall of Gyati Takka General Hospital, Lower Subansiri on Thursday.

During the meeting, the performance of the third round of Mission Pratirakhsha was reviewed. Deputy Commissioner Chukhu Takar informed that the performance of the district after the third round was 91.11per cent and the left outs will be covered during the fourth round of immunization.

Calling for unified effort from all the stakeholders for the success of the mission, Takar said that “Such programs that involves the health and safety of people should be taken seriously and all measures should be adopted to avoid any lapses.”

He requested the DMO/ DRCHO to ensure accurate data collection by the grassroot workers. He further assured all support from the district administration in ensuring 100 per cent immunization coverage.

He also directed the Medical Officers of the respective areas to pursue and convince reluctant targets to get vaccinated. “More Awareness towards vaccination programs and motivating the people” can in a long way help achieve our target, he added.
