8 NSCN cadres surrender n Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR: At least eight NSCN cadres of two factions of the outfit, laid down arms in Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh, said police on Friday.

A total of six members of the NSCN (KYA) and two from the NSCN (IM) surrendered with arms and ammunition before the Longding Superintendent of Police (SP) on Thursday.

All of them held important positions in the outfits and were engaged in extortion activities, he added.
