AAPSU presses for early disbursement of scholarship

ITANAGAR, July 4: All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) team headed by its vice president Tayuk Sonam along with education secretary Prem Tallang Comdir called on Commissioner, department of Social Justice, Empowerment and Tribal Affairs (SJETA) Gamli Padu in the matter of immediate disbursement of the pre and post Matric scholarship under the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs here on Wednesday.

In response to the earlier AAPSU appraisal on untimely disbursement of scholarship to the students, the Commissioner SJETA conducted a meeting on July 3 at his Official Chamber. The meeting was conducted to discuss the timely release of pre and post Matric scholarships. The discussion was attended by DC Prince Dawan, Secretary IT, Kinny Singh, Special Secretary, SJETA, Yumlum Kaha, Director SJETA & Banya Boje, PO (IT). It was informed to the AAPSU that the concern department is going to release both the scholarships before the end of the current month.
