ITANAGAR: The All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA) has urged the BSNL authority to improve internet connectivity and network service in the State capital as the customers have been paying their bills regularly but without getting proper service.
AACWA president Nabam Akin Hina, quoting experiences of several customers, said that broad band service is totally defunct contrary to BJP-NDA government’s advocacy about digital India.
Interestingly, such services are available in interior areas of the State.
“As most of the transactions in government, private, banks, insurance, filling forms, getting documents, tenders etc are done online, but BSNL being the main service provider of broadband internet facilities has failed in meeting the demand,” Hina said in a statement while urging the BSNL to provide better broadband internet service in tune with Digital India.
He also urged the State government to intervene and check the facilities of all cellular company operating in the State.
