ITANAGAR: Creating another buzz regarding alleged illegal appointment of staff, president of the All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA), Byabang Joram has alleged that the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister's Office (CMO) has illegally appointed another employee.

While speaking to the media at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, Joram alleged that when there are thousands of unemployed youths crying for jobs and fighting for free and fair examinations in the recruitment process of various competitive examinations, the CMO is indulging in corrupt practices by giving illegally appointment to staff.

He claimed that one SSA teacher has been illegally attached to the CMO and later her service was regularized. He said as per rules an SSA teacher cannot go for attachment, that too in the CMO itself.

Joram further claimed that the SSA teacher has been identified as the wife of State NPP Legal & Legislative Affairs secretary Pura Khonkhung. He added that even a non-APST (Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe) candidate was appointed in the CMO.

Responding to a query on ANYA's allegation against Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Joram asserted that someone has to raise a voice against the corrupt practices going on the issue.

"There is no lack of funds from the Centre but such fund never reaches the common people. He and his family are doing contract work and business and even indulge in politics depriving others. So, if the CM is clean then he should call his Cabinet and approve the demands for CBI inquiry into all the corruption charges in a free and fair manner," stated the ANYA president.

Meanwhile, when contacted, the general secretary of NPP (AP) Paknga Bage informed that they will check the facts about the allegation of illegal appointments and then make any comment.

State NPP Legal & Legislative Affairs secretary Pura Khonkhung could not be contacted for his comment on the allegation.
