All Tali Area Students Union (ATASU) withdraws complaint against contractor, engineer

ITANAGAR: All Tali Area Students Union (ATASU) withdrew the complaint filed against contractor Capital Enterprise and Executive Engineer (EE), RWD Kra Daadi division for gross misappropriation of Rs 28,96,2200 without completion of project against construction of road from Yangte-Tali PWD road to Neomi village under PMGSY stage-I.

Addressing the reporters at press club here on Wednesday ATASU General Secretary Yarda Tasap informed that earlier the union had filled complaint against contractor Capital Enterprise and EE, RWD Kra Daadi division.

Yarda said that a meeting was held on October 12 with the EE on the said matter and subsequently he (EE) has in a written letter assured to complete the construction of road within three months.

“The EE stated that if the department fails to fulfill the clearance work within stipulated time than the union can take any actions against the team of RWD engineering department, Jamin of Kra Daadi district,” Yarda said.

Yarda further added that beside the clearance work, the EE has assured for the clearance of road with motor able road from ‘O’ point up to Neomi village and the security money will not be released until and unless clearance work is completed.

The union also requested the villagers residing adjacent to the road construction to support the department for the early completion of road and said that it will make vigilance so that there is no problem to the executing department.
