ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Pradesh Women’s Welfare Society (APWWS) has termed the Budget 2023-24, presented by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, as ‘inclusive’.

Thanking the government for its commitment for overall development of the women and children of the state, the APWWS said that the budget has incorporated funds for schemes related to women and children.

The women body pointed out that by allocating funds for the early completion of destitute-cum-working women’s hostel at Chimpu, the government has enabled the long pending dream of APWWS to have such a place which would provide shelter to the lesser privileged women. APWWS President Kani Nada Maling expressed hope that the implementing agencies will work with the society for proper implementation of the schemes.
