ITANAGAR: The third day at the North-East region Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat camp started in a refreshing way on Saturday, with early morning Yoga sessions for cadets who are not part of football and volleyball competition, at the Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) near here.

The quarter-final matches of both football and volleyball took place amongst four States of the region in a very congenial and competitive environment. The cadets took part with a lot of enthusiasm and braved the early morning cold to entertain one and all by their scintillating performances, a Defence communiqué informed here.

After a quick break for bathing, doing up of their hostel cabins and a delicious hot breakfast and tea, they formed up in the drill ground for a strenuous practice session of drill competition to win the coveted 'best drill contingent' of Northeastern States, where they will win a trophy and individual medals.

Some of the cadets simultaneously started practicing in the conventional hall of RGU to enact and present the best 'national integration awareness programme' where the unity in diversity of India would be glorified with great patriotism by the cadets.
