Army to Organized Archery Competition, Itanagar

Itanagar: The Army Headquarters 5 Infantry Brigade is conducting an archery competition for the youth of West Siang district at Kaying on November 21 to spot good archers of the district.

The competition is being organized to enhance sportsmanship spirit among young talents who can be trained for national/international level events, an official communiqué informed here on Wednesday.

Good archers who are physically fit could also be given weight in the recruitment of youth to Indian Army. Age under 20 years can participate in the said event with identity proof like Aadhar Card and Voter ID Card, the communiqué added.
