RONO HILLS,: Rajiv Gandhi University's Inter-College Youth Festival 2025 (ICYF-2025) will be held from April 7-9, showcasing the talents of students from affiliated colleges.
The festival will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, with MLA Chau ZignuNamchoom as Guest of Honor. Formerly known as KASUSILOTI and later renamed Cadence, this annual event fosters student engagement in academic and cultural activities.
Building on the success of the XII-ICYF in 2018, which featured dance, recitation, music, theatre, quizzes, and mime, the 2025 festival aims to provide a platform for students to exchange skills, promote national integration, and develop leadership abilities.
Approximately 500 delegates from affiliated colleges will participate in three categories: Games and Sports, Cultural, and Literary. Notably, RGU will host the events but will not compete.
Sporting events include badminton tournaments (team, women's doubles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles) and track races (100m, 200m). Cultural events will feature folk dance, partner dance, and solo singing. Literary events will include extempore speech, essay writing, and debate.
