ITANAGAR: The Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with New Delhi-based NIIT Foundation, for implementation of cyber security plus initiative across the DDU-GKY and RSETI training centers among the rural youths of Arunachal Pradesh.
The MoU was signed between the two sides during the two-day performance review committee meeting at Sushma Swaraj Bhavan in the national capital, organised by the Ministry of Rural Development, said ArSRLM program manager (knowledge management & communication) Charu Okam, in a statement informed here on Wednesday.
He said the project will also be implemented amongst the women SHGs, schools and colleges across the state by NIIT Foundation in collaboration with the ArSRLM. Through the Cyber Suraksha Plus initiative, NIIT Foundation is taking a transformative step forward, aiming to empower 2.7 million with the knowledge and tools needed to recognise, prevent, and respond to cyber fraud.
The mission aligns with the vision of a digitally secure India, where every citizen can navigate the digital world with confidence and safety.
