ITANAGAR: In a swift and coordinated rescue operation, the 44th Assam Rifles Battalion, with support from the 36th Battalion of the CRPF, successfully recovered a civilian Bolero Camper that had plunged into a deep gorge near Khonsa town in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap district. The vehicle had skidded off a rain-soaked, treacherous road following continuous heavy rainfall in the region. The recovery operation was initiated after local villagers, unable to retrieve the vehicle due to the dangerous terrain and risk of further landslides, sought help from the Assam Rifles. Responding without delay, the security forces deployed a recovery team that demonstrated remarkable technical skill, coordination, and courage in navigating the unstable conditions to bring the vehicle to safety.
