Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu's better half donates bus to college at Bomdila

ITANAGAR: Tsering Dolma, wife of Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, on Wednesday, donated a new bus to the Government College at Bomdila in the West Kameng district of the State. Dolma, who is an alumnus of the college, handed over the bus to the college principal in the presence of representatives of district administration, public leaders, faculty members and staffs of the college.

The bus has come as a great succour to around 700 students of the institution who had been facing immense difficulty in using the single bus service to attend college regularly.

Speaking on the occasion, principal Dr Tashi Phuntso expressed gratitude to Dolma for the noble gesture and her constant support in the developmental works of the college, an official communiqué informed here.
