Arunachal Pradesh: In a significant step toward inclusive education, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu handed over KIBO, a powerful AI-based reading device, to the students of the Donyi Polo Mission School for the Hearing and Visually Impaired. The device, developed by Trestle Labs, is designed to help visually impaired and hearing-impaired students access printed, handwritten, and digital content in real time  independently, and in a language and format of their choice.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Khandu said he was delighted to witness innovation that truly transforms lives. “With KIBO, our children can now access content on their own, in their own language, and at their own pace. This is the kind of empowerment we must strive for,” he stated in a post on social media platform X.
