Arunachal Government announced State mourning for former Minister Thupten Tempa

ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Pradesh Government has announced a one-day State mourning for former Minister Thupten Tempa on October 14 next, as a mark of respect to the departed leader.

Tempa passed away at the Ramakrishna Mission Hospital here on October 7 last after a prolonged illness.

On Friday, the National Flag will be flown at half-mast across the State and in all State Government offices outside the State where the National Flag is flown.

The State Government has also decided to present a ceremonial guard of honour during his funeral/cremation, an official communiqué informed here on Wednesday.
