Arunachal IMA celebrates occasion

NAHARLAGUN: Along with the rest of the country, the Arunachal Pradesh unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) celebrated the 'National Doctors Day' with a theme 'Lessen the mortality of COVID-19' on on Wednesday .

The celebration was also held to recognize and felicitate those health workers who have been working tirelessly in the frontline to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

Health minister Alo Libang while appreciating the tireless effort by the doctors and other staff in the fight against the pandemic wished the entire doctors community of the state on the national doctor's celebration.

The Health and Family Welfare Secretary, P Parthiban also wished the entire doctors of the State on the day.

Earlier, Chief Minister Pema Khandu while taking to Twitter wished the doctors community on the Doctor's Day celebration.
