Arunachal minister reaffirms support for girls’ education

Daporijo: Reiterating the state government’s commitment to girls’ education and empowerment in remote regions, Arunachal Pradesh Industries, Trade & Commerce, Skill Development, IPR & Printing minister Nyato Dukam on Thursday said that necessary infrastructure such as playgrounds, boundary walls, and other facilities will be developed to create a conducive learning environment for girls.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the newly established Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) at Lable Moring in Upper Subansiri district.

The residential school for girls is being run by the ABCD Charitable Society under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative.

Encouraging the students, Dukam urged them to make the most of the opportunity and pursue education with sincerity and dedication.
