Dehradun: Radha Bangsia, Lumter Uli, and Achum Sangha from Arunachal Pradesh won a gold medal in the female group Poomsae event at the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand. Their excellent performance and teamwork in Taekwondo Poomsae earned them national recognition.
Pema khandu, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh praised their hard work, dedication, and skill. He also thanked their coaches and supporters for their role in this success.
Congratulating the trio, CM Khandu extended his best wishes for their future endeavours in a post on social media and said, "So proud of Radha Bangsia, Lumter Uli, and Achum Sangha, who have brought glory to Arunachal Pradesh by winning #GoldMedal in the female group Poomsae event at 38th #NationalGames being held in Uttarakhand."

Meanwhile, Assam secured a major boost at the ongoing 38th National Games in Uttarakhand, with boxers winning two gold and two silver medals. Olympic bronze medalist Lovlina Borgohain and Junior World Champion Ankushita Boro clinched gold, while Olympian Shiva Thapa and Abhinav Saikia settled for silver. Assam currently stands 22nd in the medal tally with two golds, 14 silvers, and 11 bronze medals.
