Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein empathizes with Tirong Aboh’s bereaved widow

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein along with Chief Secretary Satya Gopal on Wednesday conveyed their condolences to Chakat Aboh, wife of former Khonsa West MLA Tirong Aboh, who was gunned down by suspected NSCN militants along with ten others on Tuesday.
In his condolence message through PHE & WS Minister Wangki Lowang, Khandu said that the perpetrators of such heinous crime will not be spared and befitting action will be initiated to deliver justice to the bereaved family.
Khandu added that Aboh was one of the most prominent personalities of Arunachal Pradesh and a fine gentleman who never back downed to voice against militant activities in Tirap, Changlang and Longding districts. Lowang along with Khonsa East MLA Wanglam Sawin and Tirap DC PN Thungon paid homage to Aboh, an official release informed.
State BJP vice president Wanglong Rajkumar, NPP candidate from Namsang assembly constituency Tawang Lowang, Tirap DC, SP, Circle Officer, Dadam Pik Tayom, important personalities including chiefs, GBs, Interim PRIs members from various corners paid homage to the departed soul.
The last rites of Aboh and other 10 would be performed on May 24 next in a traditional way, the release added.
