Arunachal Pradesh has become financially independent: Amit Shah

Guwahati: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah today said that Arunachal Pradesh has become financially independent while addressing a rally at Bordumsa in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
Shah while addressing the crowd in Bordumsa said that the state of Arunachal Pradesh has earned Rs. 927 crore revenue and the credit goes to the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu and it's going to make the state financially independent.
Shah further said that the Modi government has worked to make Itanagar and Pasighat as a smart city and it is for the first time that BJP is fighting on all the seats of state assembly of Arunachal Pradesh. He further said that the winning streak of BJP started with this region when three MLAs of the party were elected uncontested.
Shah also said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi instructed the ministers to visit the northeastern region every fortnight and the instruction came to pay attention to the issues of the region and solve them. He further stated that all parts of the northeast are now connected with airways and railways and that the government gave Rs. 50,000 crores for the development of roads of Arunachal Pradesh.
Addressing the gathering further, Shah said that five years ago northeast was disturbed and there was hardly any development and after five years of the formation of the BJP government, the party brought peace in the region and is on the path of development.
