Jang: In a remarkable display of goodwill and commitment to community welfare, the Indian Army conducted a special ceremony on the eve of Losar, during which it handed over essential medical equipment to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Jang. The event was attended by Indian Army officials, ADC Jang Hakraso Kri, healthcare professionals, village representatives, and school students.

This initiative underscores the Army’s ongoing efforts to uplift the border communities of Arunachal Pradesh by enhancing healthcare infrastructure and providing better emergency care, diagnostic, and treatment facilities. It is part of the Indian Army’s broader mission to improve the quality of life in the region and offer essential services to remote areas.

The event is a continuation of the Indian Army’s Operation Sadbhavana, which aims to foster goodwill, improve infrastructure, and empower communities along India’s borders. Through the construction of schools, community centers, and sports facilities, as well as efforts to improve healthcare access, the Army has been instrumental in strengthening ties with local residents. These initiatives have helped transform perceptions of the Army, from being mere protectors to becoming trusted partners in progress.

The handover ceremony at CHC Jang is another testament to the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to fostering unity, development, and security in the border regions of Arunachal Pradesh.
