Itanagar: Son of a Minister of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Itanagar was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Papum Pare district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The deceased identified as 34-year-old Techi Takar was found dead on a railway track in the said district on Wednesday.

According to police, Takar committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train.

In this regard, the Arunachal Police have launched an investigation into the matter.

Reportedly, it has come to the fore that the driver of the train had apprised the police of the same.

In a similar incident on Saturday, a tax officer was found dead in Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Siang district.

He was identified as Tamik Taki and was posted as a tax and excise inspector in Itanagar and his body was tied to stone and iron rods.
