BOMDILA: In continuation to the first phase of district tour, Arunachal Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee (APMCC) hoisted Rashtriya Mahila Congress flag at Bomdila and Tawang during block and district level co-ordination meeting on Saturday.

While exhorting the large gathering, APMCC president NabamYakum stated that congress is the only party which promote maximum participation and representation of women folk in political arena for their political empowerment.

The APMCC president claimed, the entire nation is on the verge of celebrating another Independence Day. “In 2019 the women of the country shall be free from political oppression, violence, conflict and confusion whichhave increased abruptly since the inception of Modi led BJP government, she added.

General Secretary AIMCC cum In Charge APMCC Kim Singaisui Haokip appreciated Congress Mahila Worker of Bomdila and Tawang for upholding their sincerity and faithfulness towards the party and appealedto the women party worker to ensure that the Mahila congress flag to be recognised at every booth level of the state and maximum number of women to get linked with Shakti App.

Speaking on the occasion President District Congress Committee (DCC) Tawang Sangey Khunchok, said that the flag symbolises women empowerment not in terms of their political participation merely, however it shows the vital role of women in building nation.
