TEZPUR: The 2 Arunachal Pradesh Battalion NCC has completed its first year since raising. Despite various shortages, the Bn with the support of the local military authorities as well as the State and district administrations, conducted various NCC activities including live firing by over 300 cadets of the Tawang district.

This was the first time such trigger activities have been carried out after the raising of the unit. The cadets displayed high morale and and an eagerness to learn the nuances of weapon handling. During the exercise, cadets with potential to participate and excel in firing competitions conducted by the NCC Directorate of North East Region (NER) and DGNCC were identified.

The newly raised unit plans to expand its activities this year, stated a release.
