Arunachal Pradesh: Over 1000 students sensitized on Indian Air Force ‘avenues’
Itanagar: The students of Yachuli Government College, St Claret College and Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Sciences University at Ziro in Lower Subansiri district, were sensitized on various ‘avenues’ under Indian Air Force on Wednesday.
JWO Surendra Kumar Saxena and Corporal Manish Chaudhary, who attended as resource persons, explained in detail the recruitment process and exhorted the youths to join the Air Force to serve the nation.
They lauded the initiative of Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Retd) BD Mishra in traversing that extra mile in convincing the Air Force authorities to hold a special recruitment rally for Arunachal youths. They also informed that besides the rally at Borjar from 1st to 5th September, a special recruitment rally will be held in the month of October in Arunachal Pradesh. More than1000 students from the three colleges were part of the sensitization programme. Director IPR Obang Tayeng, EAC Lod Taker, District Labour and Employment Officer Ngilang Pugang also accompanied the Air Force officials, an official release informed here today.
A Correspondent adds: A team of officers from Indian Air Force (IAF), 11 Airmen Selection Centre, Guwahati led by Junior Warrant Officer (JWO) Surendra Kumar Saxena and Captain Manish Chaudhary on Thursday interacted with the students of KV-I school and Government College Doimukh regarding the proposed Airmen Recruitment Rally (ARR) which is scheduled to be held from 1st September to 5th September 2018 at Borjhar, Guwahati. Interacting with the students and faculty members, Officers from IAF informed in detail about the recruitment process and exhorted the students to join the Armed Forces. They also informed that the next ARR will be held exclusively for the candidates of Arunachal Pradesh in the month of October.
