Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen (Retd) K T Parnaik spotlighted the state’s business-friendly environment, tourism potential, and hydropower capacity at the ET Now Business Conclave & Awards in New Delhi. Addressing industry leaders, policymakers, and experts in the conclave on Tuesday, Parnaik emphasised Arunachal Pradesh’s strategic advantages, including its stability, infrastructure development, and investor-friendly policies.
The governor highlighted Arunachal Pradesh as the only state in the region unaffected by terrorism, fostering an environment conducive to aggressive development, an official statement said here on Wednesday.
He detailed key infrastructure advancements, such as expanding road networks to first villages and enhancing 4G connectivity. Additionally, he noted the state’s position as India’s largest kiwi producer, with plans for exports. On the tourism sector, Parnaik described Arunachal Pradesh as a land of unparalleled natural beauty, positioning eco-tourism, religious tourism, and adventure tourism as key economic drivers
