Arunachal Pradesh remains free from COVID-19 for third day

ITANAGAR: Altogether 18,659 Health workers have received vaccine shots so far including 740 on Friday, informed State Immunization Officer (SIO) Dimong Padung.

Meanwhile, the State did not report any fresh COVID-19 case consecutively for the past three days, said State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Lobsang Jampa on Saturday.

The total caseload stood at 16,829. No person was discharged on Friday even as the total number of recoveries in the State stands at 16,765.

The State currently has eight COVID active cases, while 56 people have succumbed to the infection so far. The recovery rate has touched 99.61 per cent.

The positivity ratio stands at 0.04 per cent and the fatality rate at 0.33 per cent.
