Arunachal Pradesh reports 3 new COVID-19 cases

ITANAGAR: Three more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Arunachal Pradesh, pushing the virus tally in the north-eastern State to 55,246, a senior health official said here on Sunday.

The coronavirus death toll in the State remained unchanged at 280 as no fresh fatality was registered in the past 24 hours, State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa said. The north-eastern State now has 43 active cases, while 54,923 people have recovered from the disease so far, including eight on Thursday, the official said. State Immunization Officer Dr Dimong Padung informed that a total of 13,81,208 people have been inoculated thus far including, 5,007 on Saturday.
