Arunachal Pradesh reports four new COVID-19 cases

ITANAGAR: The COVID-19 caseload in Arunachal Pradesh rose to 55,251 with four more persons tested positive for the infection, a senior health official said here on Tuesday. The coronavirus death toll in the state remained unchanged at 280 as no fresh fatality was registered in the past 24 hours, State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa said.

The north-eastern State now has 34 active cases, while 54,937 recuperated from the disease so far including, eight on Monday, the official said. State Immunization Officer Dr Dimong Padung informed that a total of 13,87,470 people have been inoculated so far in the State, including,5,608 on Monday.
