Arunachal Pradesh reports two fresh COVID-19 cases

ITANAGAR: The COVID-19 tally in Arunachal Pradesh increased to 55,322 on Tuesday after two more persons tested positive for the infection, a senior health official said here. The north-eastern State in the past three days did not report any positive case.

As many as 55,020 people, including three on Monday, recuperated from the disease thus far, the official said. The death toll in the frontier State remained at 280 as no fresh fatality due to the infection was reported in the past 24 hours, State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa said. The north-eastern State now has 22 active cases, Jampa said.
