
TAWANG: As a pre-emptive move towards infrastructure development, MLA Namgey Tsering of Tawang, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Kanki Darang, Superintendent of Police Dr. D.W. Thungon, EAC (LR) Tsering Chedon, TMES Secretary General Kesang Norbu, and other top officials, undertook a detailed ground survey to evaluate potential land extension sites in the town.
The main aim of the survey was to determine areas that would be appropriate for major public projects that would strengthen infrastructure, drive economic development, and improve the standard of living for Tawang citizens. The officials carefully evaluated different areas that would be suitable for future urban growth and development projects.
MLA Namgey Tsering underscored the government's commitment to advance these projects with the guidance of Chief Minister Pema Khandu. He thanked CM Khandu's leadership in overall development in Arunachal Pradesh as a key driving force for their endeavors in creating a progressive and prosperous Tawang.
"We are dedicated to working together to create real progress for our beloved land of Tawang," said MLA Tsering, noting the need for cooperation to ensure sustainable infrastructural development.
The survey represents an important milestone in the continued process of developing Tawang's infrastructure, so that the area is adequately prepared to address the needs of the increasing population and to accommodate upcoming development projects.
