Arunachal: Two Mountain Division GOC calls on Parnaik

ITANAGAR: General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 2 Mountain Division Major General VS Deshpande called on Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen KT Parnaik (retd) at Raj Bhavan on Friday.  The duo discussed key issues concerning the international border, the progress of the Vibrant Village Programme, and the Indian Army’s ongoing Sadbhavana initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for the local communities, an official statement from Raj Bhavan said on Saturday. Parnaik lauded the dedication and professionalism of the officers and troops of the 2 Mountain Division for their vigilant presence along the sensitive border areas. He also commended them for their sincere efforts in executing Sadbhavana projects that foster goodwill and development in the region.
