Arunachal: Youth Festival Celebrates Young Talent in Longding

The district-level Yuva Utsav in Longding, organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra and the Directorate of Youth Affairs, showcased the vibrant talents of youth, fostering creativity and community spirit.

LONGDING: A vibrant district-level Yuva Utsav was organized by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Longding in collaboration with the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, and Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Longding.

Held at GHSS Longding, the event showcased the diverse talents of young participants from across the district.

The festival featured a range of engaging activities, including a Science Mela, Young Writers and Artists Contests, a Photography Workshop and Contest, a Declamation Contest, and a Cultural Group Dance Competition.

The event was graced by the presence of Ahua Wangsu, District Sports Officer, Longding, and Emin Rumi, Principal of GHSS Longding. In his inaugural address, Mohit Nehra, District Youth Officer, emphasized the importance of the Yuva Utsav in fostering creativity and talent among the youth.

Over 300 participants from six schools in Longding district showcased their skills and competed for top honours. The winners will represent the district at the state-level Yuva Utsav in Itanagar later this month.

The successful conclusion of the Yuva Utsav marks a significant milestone in nurturing young talent and promoting cultural exchange in Longding district.
