Itagar, Mar 31: BJP President Amit Shah is scheduled to arrive here on his maiden two-day visit to the state on April 23 next to address the Pradesh Sadasyata Sammelan.

The state office bearers today convened a meeting at the party’s office here under the chairmanship of state president Tai Tagak which was attended by MLA Tage Taki, State Vice Presidents, Techi Necha, Tayek Goi and Kenyir Ringu, General Secretaries, B R Waghe and Dominic Tadar, former minister and chief spokesperson R K Khrimey and party spokesperson Laeta Umbrey among others, a party release informed.

The meeting decided that the district and mandal unit presidents along with limited office bearers, morchas and cells heads would be invited to attend the Sammelan to be addressed by tiol president while different committees and sub-committees were also formed to make the president’s maiden visit a grand success.

Apart from Sadasyata Sammelan, Shah would held meetings with BJP legislators, SOB’s, other party functiories, NGOs and other social organizations, the release added.
