ITANAGAR: Tame Phassang, Vice President, State BJP urged all section of people to come forward and donate blood voluntarily while addressing the Voluntary Blood Donation Camp being organized by the Arunachal Pradesh Voluntary Blood Donation Organization(APVBDO) here today at RK Mission Hospital, Itanagar. Phassang, while appreciating APVBDO for organizing such camp, he stated ‘there is no other big endeavor or creed than donating blood voluntarily in the world, it is a noble cause that help someone -somewhere in their medical needs and save lives.

‘We need to change our mindset, donating blood never cause any harm to our body rather it purify blood and make us healthy’ added Phassang Further encouraging, the APVBDO team , Phassang said ‘ organization should not get demoralized from less participation of volunteers in blood donation camp , this is not the end rather a beginning for a revolution in Blood donation . It might take time but our people will surely understand the importance of blood donation’ advised Vice President BJP while assuring every possible help to the organization.

While stressing on the awareness of blood donation, Phassang also suggested the APVBDO to reach out to the various religious centers like Churches, Temples, Nyadar Namlos’ as well as Office of The Political parties to organized Voluntary Blood Donation Camp. Phassang also appealed the youths to take caution during the eve of New Year to avoid any untoward incidents. Speaking on the occasion, Chairman APVBDO, Ramesh Jeke also highlighted the various benefits of donating blood. “Every year we need at least 15,000 unit of Bloods but due to less participation of people we botched to reach that graph and due to which many precious lives has been lost’ lamented Jake. He further appealed the people irrespective of cast, creed or religion to come forward and donate blood to save lives. Meanwhile, dozens of volunteers including students, public, professionals and political party workers donated blood for the noble cause.
