Border Road Organisation Chief Engineer Inspects BRTF Projects In Upper Siang, Arunachal

Itanagar: Chief Engineer of Project Brahmank under the Border Road Organisation (BRO), RK Dhiman recently visited the last point of the road sector beyond Tuting circle in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh to take stock of the projects undertaken by the BRO in the district.

The chief engineer while taking stock of the projects, exhorted the Border Road Task Force (BRTF) to expedite the two-laning of the road and construction of the major bridges, including the hi-tech cantilever pre-stress bridge at Ditte-Dimme, an official release informed here on Wednesday.

The 761 BRTF has been engaged in the development and construction of the roads and the bridges.

The chief engineer motivated the BRTF personnel working in the difficult and inhospitable terrain and lauded the efforts made by the force to improve the road from Pangin to Gelling, via Yingkiong, Moying and Tuting in the district.

Dhiman also emphasized on preparing meticulous work plans, ensuring quality and optimum utilization of resources ‘to provide the best possible riding surface’, the release said.

The chief engineer also lauded the construction of the 55-metre bridge at Bomdo and advised the ground team to work in coordination with the local people, the release added.
