Border Roads Organization To Speed Up Road Work In Arunachal

ITANAGAR: Border Roads Organization (BRO) has intensified construction of ongoing Mago-Chuna and Yarlung- Lamang roads in the State, its Director General Lt Gen Harpal Singh apprised Union MoS (Home Affairs) of this during a meeting with him here on Friday last.

While the duo discussed progress of MoHA roads entrusted to the BRO, the DG reminding of his intervention, said that completed Khinzimane-Jimmithang, Sungatsar-Kharsangla roads are being maintained by the BRO.

Expressing his satisfaction over the pace of construction, Rijiju credited the BRO for utilizing almost double the budget than last year and assured that funds will never be a constraint in building MoHA roads and stressed that pace of work should not be compromised.

This prompted the DG to assure Rijiju that no stone would be left unturned to ensure timely completion of the roads.

Project Arunank CE Brig R S Rawal was also present during the meeting.
