Candle light march in memory of Takhe Rachi

ITANAGAR: All Gohpur Youth Association of Ward no-2, Itanagar on Friday organized a candle light march in the memory of late Takhe Rachi, a mother of four children, who was on September 7 knocked down by a speeding vehicle at around 6.40 pm and later died in the hospital.

The candle light march started from Chimpu Bridge to Gohpur Tinali at Itanagar. The union stated that it’s been almost a week but yet the culprit is to be arrested.

The family and the youths have requested the police department and the state government to put the case on first track mode and arrest the accused at the earliest. Youths in hundreds took part in the march with placards and banners.
