Chowkham Battalion of the Army constructs toilets for Arunachal school

Itanagar: The Chowkham Battalion of the Army under the aegis of Lohit Brigade of Dao Division has been instrumental in the construction of four sets of toilet blocks, two each for boys and girls with water supply for students of Government Primary School, Chowkham under ‘Op Sadbhavana’. The fully operational toilet blocks were handed over to the school administration in presence of Chowkham Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) on Monday, a defence release informed here on Tuesday. The goodwill project is an endeavour to provide basic civic amenities and infrastructure to school going children of remote and inaccessible areas of Arunachal Pradesh.
