Court allows unsealing of PWD office

ITANAGAR: Following the order of District Judge, West Session Division, Yupia, the Deputy Commissioner, Itanagar Capital Region, has unsealed the office of the Chief Engineer, PWD-Western Zone on Thursday.

"I have received an order copy from the Court directing to release and unseal the entire attached property of Chief Engineer PWD-Western Zone, as the department has released the pending bill with interest as per the directives of the court to the contractor," informed ICR Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom.

In its Order, Court stated, "The entire decreed amount, for which this execution petition was filed, has been paid by the EE, PWD, Sagalee Division and photocopy of cheque No.0020532 dated 14.02.2022 addressed to the petitioner has been placed in the case record. As such, petitioner did not want to proceed further with this execution petition. In view of the submission of the petitioner, the execution petition is closed as not pressed."

Further, court has directed the DC, ICR to release or unseal the entire attached property of the Chief Engineer,PWD - Western Zone. Earlier, on February 10 last, the Court directed the DC, ICR to seal all the properties of the CE-PWD (Western Zone) in connection with the Money Execution No.04/19 in the matter of M/S Tama Fabrication Works versus State of Arunachal Pradesh.
