COVID-19 VACCINE DISTRIBUTION: Preparedness reviewed in Arunachal

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar took stock of the State's preparedness for receiving COVID-19 vaccine from the Centre and to administer it to the masses concerned.

As the State prepares to receive the coronavirus vaccine, the chief secretary urged upon the deputy commissioners of all the districts to oversee the preparation in a time bound manner. He asked them to oversee the preparedness of the logistics, equipment like cold chain preparedness and other facilities in their districts. "Any shortcomings and gaps should be communicated to the State headquarters," he said.

Kumar also asked the DCs to prepare COVID-19 district micro plan and constitute district and block task forces on immunization for better coordination, operational planning and communication planning for successful implementation of the vaccination drive.
