ITANAGAR: The Deputy Commissioner, Itanagar Capital Complex-cum-Special Secretary (IT &C), Prince Dhawan on Friday launched the Offline Version of e-ILP in a formal function organized during the Sarkar Apke Dwar at Karsingsa. Neelam Yapin Tana, Director (IT&C), Jumnyir Ronya Kato, Circle Officer, Bandredewa and other Officers and Officials of District Administration and IT & C, GoAP, were present during the function.

DC said that earlier the state government had adopted online e-ILP for the benefit of the visiting outsiders. However, due to connectivity issue at border areas; the Offline version of e-ILP has been developed by the Department of IT and Communication, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, he added. He also added that the offline e-ILP has provisions to get synced with online Inner Line portal. One KIOSK Counter at Banderdewa has been set up where e-ILP will be issued to the citizens instantly on their arrival at minimum charges of Rs.100 per head.

He further added that in order to promote cash less transactions, the KIOSK Counter will also be enabled with PoS Machine in due course.

“Citizens can avail offline service on arrival instantly,” DC added.

At the Check-gates, the e-ILP will be verified with an android based mobile App which can read QR Code and Bar Code.

The encrypted QR code present in the e-ILP Permit contains all the valid information regarding visitor details.

Using this android based mobile App; security personnel at the gate can check the permits whether the details of visitors are valid or not?

The visitors are required to produce original ID proof along with the Inner Line Pass at the Check gates during verification.
