Death anniversary of Jana Sangh founder observed
ITANAGAR, June 23: The state Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) under the leadership of Taring Tiri ji observed the 65th death anniversary of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee here at party office on Saturday. Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee is the founder president of Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJS) in the year 1951. Later it merged with the Janata Party and in due course became a part of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Speaking on the occasion, BJYM president Taring Tiri highlighted the contributions of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee in building a strong party in the country. "We still follow his ideology and principles of one nation one constitution, one flag and one Pradhan, he said."
