The projects were inaugurated during a function held at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi on the occasion of the Border Roads Organisation’s (BRO) 66th Raising Day.
Arunachal Pradesh Governor K.T. Parnaik, who virtually participated in the inauguration ceremony, hailed the Border Roads Organization (BRO) for completing 21 critical infrastructure projects in the state.
As many as 50 strategically significant infrastructure projects of the BRO—30 bridges, 17 roads, and three other works—were virtually dedicated to the nation by the Defence Minister.
In Arunachal Pradesh, these projects include four strategically important border roads—Assam Hill to Lungro GG, Lungrola to Vasu Rok in Tawang, Lee to Huri in Kra Daadi, and Tama to Taksing in Upper Subansiri—and 17 new bridges.
