Delhi-based Arunachal Students’ Union felicitates Kiren Rijiju for his victory

Itanagar: Delhi-based Arunachal Students’ Union led by its president Likha Akash had felicitated Union MoS (Home Affairs) Kiren Rijiju for his resounding victory in the just-concluded Lok Sabha election. Expressing gratitude for his service to the State, the students during a function organized on Sunday said that it is because of him the students from North Eastern States could live in the national capital safely with confidence.

The students took up various issues including the Greenfield airport, Trans-Highways Arunachal and development of education besides urging him to set up a hostel for the students studying in the national capital. Rijiju assured that the Greenfield airport would be completed in three-and-half years and move the authorities concerned with a proposal for a hostel. He also conveyed his gratefulness for the love and affection of the students, a press release informed here on Monday.
